1000km
Without doubts, we can say that the Belgian circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, which the Le Mans Series is going to visit for the sixth time, is one of the favorites of most drivers in the world.
It’s probably the 1954 race that started everything. But it’s in 1963 than the 500km (it will become quickly the 1000km) really started. However, after a victory for the team Pescarolo/Bell in 1975, the race was cancelled for more than 7 years.
Now, the 1000km of Spa has become one of the « can’t miss » race of the Le Mans Series.
